How to report a bug or error?

We’re excited to introduce the Bounty Stars Bug Bounty Program

Our official reward system for reporting bugs and vulnerabilities. Registered and active Bounty Stars users can report any issues they find and earn rewards for helping us make the platform safer and better. Our main goal is to continuously improve our service and provide the best possible experience — and your contribution makes that possible!

Rewards depend on the severity of the reported issue.

Bug reports that lack complete information will not be considered for rewards — please check the required minimum details below.

If the issue cannot be reproduced, it will not qualify for a reward, so make sure to describe the reproduction steps as accurately as possible.

If the same bug is reported multiple times, the reward will go to the first user who submitted it.

Confidentiality

Please note that all information about our systems – including bugs, errors, and exploits that are not publicly known – is strictly confidential. Disclosure of such information is prohibited. You must not share or use this information in any way other than submitting your bug report as described above. Do not attempt any non-technical attacks such as social engineering, phishing, or physical attacks targeting our website, staff, users, or infrastructure.

Rules

By submitting a bug report, you agree that we may use your personal data and the information in your report to maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of our website. You confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. In particular, you acknowledge and guarantee that:

  • Your bug report does not violate any applicable laws and does not cause a breach or compromise of data that you do not own.
  • You are solely responsible for any taxes, fees, or other obligations related to your participation in the Bounty Stars Bug Bounty Program, including reward payments.
  • Bounty Stars reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Bug Bounty Program at any time and at its sole discretion.
  • The program applies only to vulnerabilities found on websites operated by Bounty Stars. Sites hosted on bountystars.com subdomains but managed by third parties are not eligible for testing.

How to Submit a Report

Submitting a report is simple – just make sure it includes all the required details listed below.

To be eligible for a reward, your report must contain at least:

  • Your name, user ID, and contact information
  • A detailed description of the bug or vulnerability (length doesn’t matter – clarity does)
  • Step-by-step instructions to reproduce the issue
  • Information about the relevant operating systems, software, and versions
  • How frequently the issue occurs (e.g. always, rarely, 50/50, etc.)
  • If the bug is hard to reproduce or occurs rarely, please include proof such as screenshots or a video

Additional details are always welcome – the more information you provide, the faster we can reproduce, understand, and fix the issue. In some cases, we may ask for further clarification or additional evidence.
